About Kay's Gentle Hands Doula Care
Hi, I’m Kaleish — a birth, postpartum, and full-spectrum doula serving New York City and Long Island.
I became a doula because I knew one day I’d become a mother — and I wanted to be informed, empowered, and ready to advocate for myself. Along the way, I realized just how many parents, especially young people of color, are navigating pregnancy without the guidance, care, or emotional support they deserve.
So I stepped into this work not just for me — but for you.
Through Kay’s Gentle Hands, I offer in-person, nonjudgmental support that’s grounded in compassion, cultural understanding, and respect. I walk alongside you during your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum — whether you’re feeling excited, overwhelmed, unsure, or all of the above.
